Prayer Counseling

Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish it work so you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. – James 1:2-4NIV

Encouraging people to become fully devoted followers to Christ by assisting them in the midst of life's difficulties.

You have heard it said that adversity is inevitable but misery is optional. Times of difficulty need not be filled with despair. Such times can serve as catalysts that move us to experience the greater joy of the Christian life. Prayer Counseling at HCCC has its model as the earthly ministry of Christ, who healed and comforted those in need while challenging them to follow Him. Christ ministered to some who subsequently chose not to follow Him. In the same way, we seek to minister to those in need, realizing that some will become fully devoted followers of Christ and others will not. Like Christ, we seek to be unlimited in our compassion and unapologetic with the truth of His message.

Suggested Donation
Take your gross annual household income and subtract $15,000. Multiply that amount by .001. The maximum is $60 per session regardless of income. Example: If your household income is $40,000 per year, subtract $15,000 for an adjusted amount of $25,000. Multiply $25,000 by .001, which is $25. You would donate $25 per session.

If special circumstances render you unable to donate the calculated amount, please let us know and we will adjust your amount. No one will be refused services based on an inability to donate.
