Pastor Maureen Sanger was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. She is a Registered Professional Nurse and holds a Masters in Theology as well as a Doctorate in Ministry. She, along with her husband, Dr. John Sanger, pastor Higher Call Christian Church in Raleigh, North Carolina. Higher Call is a cutting-edge church with a focus on equipping the saints for the work of service. Areas of ministry include counseling, physical and emotional healing, youth ministry, missionary emphasis, worship and arts, outreach programs to low income areas and to the entire community.

Dr. Sanger ministers internationally, being used of God in inner and physical healing, as well as teaching and ministering impartation. She has ministered in Africa, Australia, Canada, England, India, Korea, Mexico, Russia, Israel, and Thailand as well as widely in the United States.

Dr. Sanger trains Large Ministry Teams which minister to the church at large during services, conferences, meetings, seminars, and which travel internationally. She also trains Small Ministry Teams for intensive, personalized individual ministry.
